2021 reading list

welcome to the hot potato book club!!

Can I really call this a book club if it's just me? 🤔👀  Although I suppose it may technically become a club if you end up reading a book too because of me... Basically, the purpose of this blog is for me to keep a record of every (or at least most) books that I read in 2021 and beyond. I believe that having an external force (e.g. a digital record) will serve as backup motivation in case my intrinsic motivation fails for some reason. Also, maybe my writing skills will improve as a result too 😉 Speaking of motivation, why on earth do I want to read one book per week?  The main reason is because I used to love reading as a kid. Like, love . As in, I finished the Twilight series in just under one month and the A Song of Ice and Fire  series in just three months.  After high school...actually, up until late 2019 , it was quite rare for me to sit down and read a book for pure enjoyment.
